Welcome to Midland Community Healthcare Services Helping women have healthier babies by offering high-quality, state-of-the-art technology in obstetrics, gynecology, family planning, prenatal care, and childbirth education! Prenatal, Family Planning, and Well-Woman care is provided for Midland County residents and those living in the surrounding areas. Financial assistance is available for qualified applicants. By offering early prenatal care, we believe that more serious medical problems can be avoided. The prenatal program provides routine care during pregnancy and continuing through birth. By receiving regular examinations during pregnancy, the chance of problems with the baby and birthing process are greatly reduced. Each patient who enters the prenatal program at MCHS Women's Services Clinic will also receive counseling about a healthy lifestyle, labor and delivery preparation and expectations of parenthood. Patients are also encouraged to help themselves by reading and attending childbirth education classes. A physician or certified midwife on call will attend the mother during the birth of her baby. They provide comfort, support, and evaluate the progress of the birth and assist with the birthing. Following the arrival of your baby, we provide postpartum care. Information is provided on self-care questions as well as learning about the baby's growth and development. FAMILY PLANNING AND WELL-WOMAN CARE Birth control classes are available two weeks following the birth of your baby. We will continue to follow your care by providing annual pap smears, well-woman checks, etc. ADDITIONAL SERVICES
