Mental Health Services
at the
Coleman Family Medicine Clinic

MCHS now has mental health counseling available for our clients.  The counseling is provided by a licensed clinical social worker.  Our patient’s mental and emotional wellness is important and also plays a critical role in achieving  physical health.

         Counseling is available for conditions such as:

  •             Depression

  •             Postpartum Depression

  •             Anxiety

  •             Grief   

    And for difficulty adjusting to life changing events such as:
     

  •             Chronic Illness

  •             Disability

  •             Death of a loved one

  •             Separation through military service or incarceration

  •             Divorce

  •             Relationship problems

  •             Domestic Violence

  •             Unplanned pregnancy

  •             Past or Present Trauma

Services are available to clients 14 years old or older.  Younger patients will be referred to community resources who are more experienced in meeting children’s mental health needs.  Individuals, parent s or caregivers of our patients are welcome to access our counseling services, even though they may not receive medical services through our clinic. Clients needing substance abuse counseling will also be referred to community agencies with expertise in their treatment.

COLEMAN CLINIC HOURS:

Monday
8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Tuesday & Wednesday
8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Thursday
8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Friday
8:00 am to 3:00 pm

Please note that the clinic is CLOSED FOR LUNCH between 12:00 noon and 1:00 pm.
